RGU SPORT Online Booking
Terms and Conditions

Online booking may be used by members of RGU SPORT. All bookings must be made in accordance with the terms and conditions listed below, as well as in accordance with the RGU SPORT Terms and Conditions of Use (which can be found by clicking the links at the bottom of the page). Please note due to COVID 19 the T&Cs listed on this page supersede the relevant sections in the RGU Sport Terms and Conditions of Use documents.

Session Bookings

Fitness Area sessions, S&C sessions, swim sessions and group exercise classes can be booked up to 7 days in advance for members and 1 day in advance for non-members.

Latest bookings can be made online up to 30 minutes prior to the slot start time.

Members must check in on arrival at the self-service kiosks.

The admission of late comers to a class is at the sole discretion of the instructor of the class, but no entry to the facility will be permitted after the class has commenced.

Customers cannot move between the S&C room and the Fitness Areas and must stay within the area booked.

Customers must arrive “swim ready” (swimsuit on under their clothes) to facilitate quick changing. Customers must wait in the changing rooms until the lifeguard signals they can come on to poolside.

24 hours’ notice must be given to cancel a booking and can be done so by telephone. Failure to meet this condition on more than 3 occasions in any 3 month period will result in loss of advance booking rights for a period of 1 month.

Activity Bookings

One-off booking for activities in the sports hall can be made up to 7 days in advance for members and non-members.

Cancellations must be made a full 24 hours prior to the booking time otherwise the customer will be charged the full rate in arrears.

No further bookings can be made by a customer who is in arrears until full payment has been received.

All users can only book one court in the sports hall at a time and can book a maximum of two consecutive time slots.

Play can only take place when the customer who the court is booked under is present.

Bookings must allow for a 5-minute set up time at the start and 5 minutes take down time at the end of the session. Actual playing time is 50 minutes maximum unless otherwise notified.

A single basketball hoop can be booked for a maximum of three people from one household per basket. Two households may play singles for racquet sports or one household can play doubles (limit of four people).

Refunds

If your booking is cancelled within the appropriate cancellation period, please contact rgusportenquiries@rgu.ac.uk to arrange a refund.

Please note: We may alter the activity programmes and reserve the right to refuse admission. We may at any time withdraw all or part of the facilities, including classes, sports hall activities and courses, in connection with any purpose and at our sole discretion. Terms and conditions are subject to change.
