RGU SPORT Online Booking
Terms and Conditions

Online booking may be used by non-members and members of RGU SPORT. All bookings must be made in accordance with the terms and conditions listed below, as well as in accordance with the RGU SPORT Terms and Conditions of Use (which can be found by clicking the links at the bottom of the page).

Classes

Classes can be booked up to 7 days in advance for members and on the day of the class for non-members and guests.

Non-members can book online on the day of the class or at reception up to 2 hours before class start time. Non-members booking a class must pay at the time of booking.

Latest bookings can be made online up to 30 minutes prior to the class start time.

Members must check in on arrival at the self-service kiosks or at reception prior to the class. Non-members must check in at reception. Class tickets will be available at reception 2 hours prior to the start time.

The admission of late comers to a class is at the sole discretion of the instructor of the class, but no entry will be permitted 3 minutes or more after the class has commenced. When a class is fully booked, no late entry will be permitted as the space will be given to someone on the waiting list.

24 hours’ notice must be given to cancel a booking and can be done so at reception. Failure to meet this condition on more than 3 occasions in any 3 month period will result in loss of advance booking rights for a period of 1 month.

If a class is booked online or at reception it can be cancelled only at reception.

Sports Hall Activities

One off bookings for activities in the sports hall can be made up to 7 days in advance for members and non-members and can be done either in person or online. All non-member bookings must be paid for at the time of booking. Activities can be booked online up to 60 minutes prior to the activity start time.

Members and non-members must check in at reception prior to the booking and play can only take place when the member who the court is booked under is present.

Cancellations must be made a full 48 hours prior to the booking time otherwise the customer will be charged the full rate in arrears. Cancellation must be done at reception or over the phone. Failure to meet this condition on more than 3 occasions in any 3 month period will result in loss of advance booking rights for a period of 1 month.

A single basketball hoop can be booked for a maximum of 6 people per basket. A maximum of 6 people may use any one racquet sport court during any one time slot.

Courses

Courses can be booked up to 56 days in advance for members and non-members and until the end of the booking period.

Maximum cancellation period will vary dependent on the nature of each course. Failure to adhere to the cancellation period may result in full price being charged.

Prior to course start time course participants must report to reception.

Refunds

If your booking is cancelled within the appropriate cancellation period, please contact rgusportenquiries@rgu.ac.uk to arrange a refund.

Please note: We may alter the activity programmes and reserve the right to refuse admission. We may at any time withdraw all or part of the facilities, including classes, sports hall activities and courses, in connection with any purpose and at our sole discretion.
